Pretty much. I don't understand or have the need to surround myself with random bodies that contribute nothing to my life or go through the motions of weird social rituals that accomplish nothing. Apparently that makes me a mutant.

Also I'm a super-being of endless insight and wisdom that lives outside the stream of time, hence avoiding the normal sociocultural progression of the individual and thus finding no interest in the petty pleasures and histrionics of the pack.

EXISTENTIAL WARRIOR YAMORI, CRUSADING AGAINST THE COMMONPLACE! :hiphop:

That was a rare insight into the amazing world of my psyche, hope y'all enjoyed it.

For some reason that song, "What if God were one of us" sprang to mind.

dude, mark, for as much time as you spend insisting you're not gay, you spend even more time telling stories about this person thinking you're gay, or that person calling you gay, or other blah blah blah i'm gay bullshit.

Shocking it may sound, his statistics are actually better. Other advice to offer would be having them live together for a least 30 days prior to marrage to confirm the "real" personality test.

That asside, I've donated as much as 250.00 for a party and as little as 10.00 for parties where I just tag along (i.e didn't really know the bachlor personally). Those costs are not inclusive to my spend on the lap dances /evilgrin.

As for folks that feel they would actually act upon an urge (i.e. bachlor having a sex act with a stripper), then they shouldn't be married at all.

I've always thought the purpose of a bachlor party with strippers is to taunt the fact that the husband to be would be bound to only one women, sort of like hanging that carrot in front of them and say, "look what you'll miss".

drunk, being "high", etc has NEVER passed for allowance to cheat. It is one thing to say, I got GHB slipped in my drink. Ethics MUST hold true regardless of state of mind. If they do not, then your ethics are too low compared to the required bond for a successful marriage.

Lastly, marriage IS the hardest job you will ever have. You will never make as many sacrifices, compromises, etc than you will when you're married.

This spawns another curiosity of mine, out of the married folks (first, second, third doesn't matter), how long have you been married, perhaps a poll is in order :)

Kahar and I will have our 9 year anniversary in April. Yay us! :)

Mark.. why do you feel the need to have a date at a wedding? I've never understood this or why people get so obsessed with it - the day isn't about you or your date, it's about celebrating the marriage of someone you love. I've been to weddings with a date, I've been to many without - when you don't have a date, you simply enjoy the wedding with your friends and family.

4 years with my wife Linda whose loving gaze has slowly hardened into one of cold and embittered indifference.

She's the girl next door... if you lived next door to a whore house. :eyecrazy:

First off. I do get a lot of gay guys hitting on me. Mabye that's because I'm one of very few white people around my age where I live. I have no clue. I also have people that think I'm gay on first impression quite a lot. When I ask why they say it's because I dress well and speak properly. What's your point Leah?

Secondly, the last wedding I went to was my grandma's. At least as far as American weddings go. I don't care if I don't have a date. I just thought it would be fun. I never took a date to a wedding before haha... A classmate from higschool lives in Chicago, and she'll probably be coming to the wedding as my date. It'll be fun! We haven't seen each other in years, and it will be a great chance to catch up (outside of the wedding of course.. i'll be busy at the wedding I'm guessing). I was kinda joking about hooking me up with a date lol...
