360 still worth buying without an hd tv?

It really depends on the tv. If it's an LCD non hd tv it will look great. If it's not LCD go get one =p Also, I have both the wired and wireless controllers and I always choose the wired one. I like it because its smaller and lighter. Get the pro package because it has a 20gb hdd to download game updates and maps. As well as free game demos and trailers.

It looks fine on SDTV especially if you're able to hook it up via S-Video or component. I would look into getting a 20 some odd inch HD TV though. You can get those pretty cheap and it looks marvelous.

I have a 20 something inch HDTV that I'm trying to get rid of. It has a built in DVD player and it's from Toshiba. Supports up to 1080i. The TV is somewhat old and the blacks don't always look the best. Trying to get 150 for it which is a great price (retails like 599).

I have the 27" widescreen on this list

It's the monitor in my avatar. Viewsonic makes a great product thats affordable. Out of any equipment I've bought this has made the greatest impact on games and movies by far.

I've used mine on hd, svid and cable hookup (requires a converter box). Yes you will see a difference, no it won't be the end of the world. I have 2 wireless controllers, but I kinda wish now I'd bought a wired one for the extra so I could use it on the computer without additional hardware.

Sorry Stab, I haven't had a chance to go home and do much other than sleep. I'll take a pic soon as I get a chance.

Update, got the 360 and gears and found this http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications ... =K365-3200
Loving it so far, looks amazing and whatnot, waiting for Armored Core 4 to come out on my b-day(23rd), that game looks fun as hell.
Any other "must have" 360 games? crackdown looks fun, GTA-ish with no missions i think.

Fight Night Round 3 is kinda addictive.
Dead or Alive 4 if into fighting games.
Elder Scrolls Oblivion if don't have the computer to run it.
Dead Rising is fun. Burnout is too.
The Marvel: Ultimate Alliance games are fun if your into it and have multiple people to play with.
Splinter Cell: Double Agent is cool if your into those games.
Some of the 360 games are pretty, but also pretty much suck. The games I've listed I actually own, and are pretty damn fun imo.

DOA 4 = graphically intensive and boobalicious version of paper, rock and scissors
Fight Night looks good but I lost interest in it.
Oblivion I hear great things about but am still waiting on the ps3 version.
Others I haven't played or heard anything about.
Lost Planet is really good. Call of Duty is good if you like WW2 stuffs. Virtua Fighter 5 in the summertime. It's incredible for PS3.
