College basketball is losing it's luster for me. The Kentucky coaching vacancy is about the most interesting thing I've seen this year so far.

I picked 3 out of 4. I do have to admit that despite some great games, there wasn't the level of upsets or shocks that normally accompany March Madness.

Yeah me too. I had UNC instead of G-town, but had the rest of them right.

I quit watching this year after the G-town/ Vandy game. Vanderbilt had that game won and they let that G-town guard blatantly palm the ball then get a 3 point play down the paint.

Then to take the lead at the end, the G-town "marquis" player travelled a mile spinning around before hitting his shot.

And if that wasn't bad enough, even on the desperation heave from half court, the G-town defender demolished the Vandy guy on his entire arm, but I guess because it was a heave shot, they decided not to call anything.

I just despise march madness officiating.

My bracket crippled in the past couple days. I hit almost every upset and game up until the Tenneesee/Ohio State game, Tennessee fucked me, shoulda won that fucker :-x All Ive got left now is fucking UCLA, and got them losing next game >< Godamn UNC losing hurt, I had them winning it all. I was ahead in all my pools by a longshot, now its all fucked. Took off to an early lead this year because I called VCU over Puke, Winthrop over ND, UNLV over Wisc second round, damn near all of em.

Ahhh oh well, was a great start at least.

Do you think the driver of the SUV is a Trojans fan or a Hoyas fan? I wondered if he was in his mascot costume when he was hit.

HACKENSACK, N.J. - A University of North Carolina student who performed as a mascot for the school’s basketball team died Monday, three days after being struck by a car hours before an NCAA tournament game.

Jason Ray was 21.

Ray, who performed as UNC’s ram mascot, Rameses, had been in critical condition since the accident Friday afternoon. He was struck from behind while walking on the shoulder of a highway near his hotel after going to a nearby convenience store.

Ray, who was scheduled to graduate in May with a major in business administration and a minor in religion, was in New Jersey for the men’s game between North Carolina and Southern California.

Steve Kirscher, UNC’s associate athletic director for communications, said Ray died Monday morning.

No charges have been filed against he driver of the sport utility vehicle. Police said the driver stopped immediately to try to help Ray and called 911. Police also said the driver had a valid driver’s license and did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Ohio State got its ass whupped is what happened. 4/23 on 3-point shots. They could have built SEVERAL shit-houses with the amount of bricks they were shooting.

Or sucks to be Ohio State; Losses to Florida in both football and basketball in the same year.
