Double overtime. Dampier is a monster on the offensive board.

What was with Cuban punching the camera out of the way all pissy-like there at the end?

Definately referee bias if the Mavs lost.

wtf!
Were you sleeping? They've been touting this game for weeks!

It was a crazy game... we were shorthanded and the Suns played their asses off. Mavs had the worst 1st quarter this season (23% FG, season-low). We came back from 16 down to go up by 15. We were playing 'Mavs basketball' again. Hell, we even put in J.J. Barrera (to compensate for the loss of Devin Harris) I totally thought we had it in the bag. But then Nash went off... as he does...

It just makes the LAST game against Phoenix (April-1) THAT much more important. It's now conceivable that they can catch up with us and take the #1 seed... but that tie-breaker game is the killer.

I have Raptors tunnel vision. I don't really read much ESPN or NBA.com articles (aside from Simmons).

I get my news from RealGm.com because those fans are crazy about Raps and I can get every minute little detail I need from there.

To be honest, if I don't check to box score or the game ticker I have no clue what the other teams are doing, I'm just watching my raps.

Yeah... The raptors are kinda crazy right now. It's actually sort of surreal. Like, we look at our schedules and see a game against Toronto coming up and actually mark it as a 'tough' game ahead. Wtf is happening here?

One of my basketball guru buddies up here has them pegged for a 2nd-round upset, putting them against Cleveland/Detroit in the Eastern finals. :eyecrazy:

Watching Lebron is better than watching the Mavs.

Cleveland has a good shot this year.

I don't really think there's a team in the east that anyone can guarantee would walk over the Raps. Detroit and Chicago would be the two that I doubt we could beat. Cleveland isn't likely but all the other teams I think we have the edge on. I think we'll be favored in the first round (which would be a 1st in franchise history), and I do personally think we could sneak past second round. The only problem is Bosh has a habbit is seizing up in big games. He get's a lot of TO in the last few minutes, forces it a bit.

If he can get past that, and he can get past that we'll be dangerous.

All that and we're still the worst rebounding team in the league.

I haven't looked at the actual stats but they seem to be playing rasho more, which should help with inside d and rebounding.

Unless they get the Wade treatment, I don't see Cleveland winning anything. They're just so flawed.

You won the last game on an offensive foul by side show bob.

The other one was a route. It happens.

My point is solely the Cavs can play a seven game series with the Raptors. I think the Cavs can beat Chicago, too.. Detroit... I dunno.

I'm not saying they WILL. I just think those will be good series.

Cleveland is too much of a Jeckyll and Hyde team this year, though, and they really need more consistency.

Agreed.

I don't think anyone could definitively say who would win between Cleveland and Toronto.

Now that Hughes has moved over to the point guard for the Cavs, he has been a huge lift for the them. If he is consistent in the playoffs, that will open up things for LBJ.

It'll be interesting to see how the East plays out for seedings. Things are fairly tight right now.

Detroit is two games up on Cleveland. Their next two games are at Phoenix, then at home hosting Dallas.

If Cleveland can beat Utah @ home then things'll get interesting.

Is this accurate? Dampier got 11 offensive rebounds and 0 defensive rebounds? I've never seen a stat line like that before.
