...is that Theismann is out on MNF - replaced by Ron Jaworski (which I'm not too sure how he'll be announcing).
But Joe gone is such a breath of fresh air!

Excellent. Joey really sucked as an announcer.
I like Jaws, as he usually has good insight. Great move by ESPN.

Joe wasn't the problem, it was the chemistry between him and Kornheiser, they constantly argued on air. I'd rather get rid of whiny-ass Kornheiser who isn't even built to be a punter let alone football player.

well, thank god he's there to talk, & not play.
the reason he & theismann wouldnt get along is because theismann was a fucking mongoloid. kornheiser exists on a different mental plane than him.
that really is good news, jaworski is great in the booth

Theisman and Jaworski would've been a much better pair.

Kornheiser knows only the absolute basics of the game. I'm tempted to say that Madden makes more sense than he does at times.

Kornheiser is more of an opinionist who tries to be an entertainer/comedian, instead of being analytical or statistical.

The only problem with that is/was a sportswriter when they hired him so people sort of assume he should know WTF he's talking about.

Well, I'd expect Kornheiser to improve this year, as he'll have a year of experience under his belt. So, he should be a lot more knowledgeable than he was last year. Did anyone track and see if he got better as the season went on?
Theismann, on the other hand, has always been a compelte raving idiot. Sure, he played, but the man has the IQ of a carrot.

Don't you EVER say Madden makes sense.
I would punch that fat-fuck in the face if I had to endure his stupidity in person.

I like Madden.
He does say a lot of bizarre things, but he doesn't take himself too seriously and calls it as he sees it usually.
I don't like Kornheiser. He tries too hard not to be an analyst, and to do his PTI Schtick. That works good on that show, but sucks ass in a football commentator format.

I think Michael Wilbon should get an announcing postion. He is way better than Kornheiser.
