Auditory hallucinations
Anyone here experience them, or have in the past?
Since I've been getting better, I've been having some rather weird auditory hallucinations. I'm blaming coming off of the drugs, but apparently there is no connection nor has there been any reports of such in the past.
I can hear the intro to a particular song, repeating over and over, sometimes for several minutes or more.

Save the music bashing, I don't give a shit.
I can hear that intro, including the chords, repeat over and over. I've done some looking around and it appears this isn't as rare as I thought. I've read that up to 15% of the male population experiences this sort of thing, and not just schizophrenics.
So out of curiosity, indulge me...

Friggin Justin Timberlake has been stuck in my head for two days, and just that one line "I think that she knows. I think that she knows" It doesn't make you crazy. Posting about it on the internet may make you a little nuts though

I get woken up by an imaginary telephone ringing a lot.
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

Out of curiosity, are you planning on not going into work b/c of this too? I'd recommend making up something else though...
It must be rough being such a happy mofo.
I suggest shock therapy to alleviate your personal pain. Please up the voltage.

Kind of unrelated but whatever. The other day I was having trouble sleeping and I looked up out of my bed in the middle of the night and saw a child's face staring back at me. I sat there staring at it for probably close to a minute wondering what the fuck was going on seriously the thought that went through my head was, "fuck this, don't tell Finawin was right about ghosts after all". Turns out it was just the curtain but the perspective made it look like it was right in front of me.
That is all.
That is all.

Jesus Himself comes into your room, and you would think "Fuck off, I have to say Mindia was right"
Never said I'd hide it, I was just upset you were right. Then it turned out you were wrong again and the universe corrected itself.
If Jesus came into my room and I'd rib about how Mindia was going to hell with him.

I have auditory hallucinations, I've had them for years, since I was little. This shouldnt come as a shock.
I also have visual hallucinations. I blamed them on the anti depressants I was on, but I am off that brand and I still have them.
I also have panic attacks about the possibility of me dreaming while I am driving. It's more in depth, but I dont feel like explaining.
I blame all of this, not on being crazy (which I might be), but on having an overactive imagination.

Re: Auditory hallucinations
Do you literally HEAR them through your ears, or just really clearly through your head?
When does it happen? If it's right before you're going to sleep, or just waking up, or really tired, it's not anything to be worried about, lots of people have that.
Are you on any antidepressants, ADD medication, or other forms of stimulants? Those can sometimes cause them in some people.
Have you been under a lot of stress recently?
Keep a watch on yourself for any major changes in your behavior/thinking (withdrawing from friends/activities, paranoid thinking, emotional bleakness, no pleasure or interest in anything, trouble thinking and concentrating, increasing hallucinations) and get your ass to a psychiatrist if those show up. The bit of embarrassment is worth it if it prevents/minimizes shit going really bad later on.

Yes, I HEARD the song. I know the difference.
The only thing I was on was Reglan, for my digestive problems. It worked, and I am fucking happy about that.

For years I've heard the Everquest DING. Obviously not so much these days, but allll the time back in the day.
I hear my alarm clock occasionally. Quite often actually, its set on mechanical bell and it starts out really really quiet, and it gets louder with each chime. Everytime I hear it when its not really going off, I tell myself I'm going to change it. Shit, every time I wake up to the thing I remind myself to change the damn setting. I hate it, maybe thats why its so effective at waking me up.
This third one is great. I think I hear my cellphone all the time. My ringtone ? My Last Serenade
When I'm expecting a call, and theres backround noise I think I hear it all the time.
