hey fin, you try making a gun in your bathtub. Alcohol can be easily produced so anybody that wants to make and sell it could make a fortune if they weren't caught.

Mankind will always be killing each other in various ways. Disarming everyone will only bring about more ingenious forms of murder to be developed.

Guns aren't the problem, but a symptom.

removing handguns from the equation would force people into other forms of violence there is no arguing against that but taking a bat to somebody or trying to kill them with a knife is a lot different then shooting somebody. You would be making it harder to kill somebody for many reasons, and the methods used would be less lethal.

You would also be eliminating the accidental deaths, and any instances of somebody pulling their gun in self defense and having it used on them
