All companies should institute random drug tests (including yours) and fire anybody who tests positive for THC. That's what this country needs. Fire all the dope-smokin retards and get straight people in the workplace.

THC doesn't render you incapable of doing your job. My best friend is a high end application/sales engineer, makes $150kish a year or so between bonuses and commission, and he smokes pot recreationally. Never at or before work, of course, but he prefers it to drinking a beer to relax when he gets home. He owns his own home (yes, here in the bay area), drives a nice car that he paid off early, pays his taxes, etc. So how, exactly, is my friend a loser or a blight upon society?

Pot needs to be legalized, it's less harmful to you than alcohol or tobacco, has a myriad of uses as a medical drug, and legalization would open up industrial hemp legalization, which would mean higher quality paper without cutting down trees, more natural animal feed, potential for biodiesel, etc. etc. etc.

Actually, there are approximately 315 active chemicals in marijuana. This number goes up and down depending on which plant is used.

Well, it is now ; but that wasn't the origin.

4) April 20th is Hitler's birthday.

Yes, it is his birthday. But, as 420 started out as a time, not a date, his birthday had nothing to do with it.

5) The date of the Columbine school shootings.

This happened after the term was already in use.

6) 4:20 is tea time for pot-smokers in Holland.

Tea time in Holland is at 5:30 pm, or is it 2:30 pm? Seems no one is quite sure when the wonderful people of Holland drink their tea.

The point is, who cares why it is called 4:20? The point is, it is 4:20! Burn one if you are burning.

I miss weed. But I am much better off without it.

How in the fucking hell do you get that this country needs to get rid of weed?

This country needs to stop outsourcing. This country needs to stop putting its single mothers and veterans on the street. This country needs to stop invading innocent countries and stealing their resources.

The problems with this country have NOTHING to do with marijuana.

The only reason you hate weed is because you hate the pot-head culture cheech and chong stereotype that goes along with it. I bet you know and respect plenty of people who in your wildest dreams you wouldn't think they smoke pot, but they do. Take a look at me, no one would fathom that I smoke because I don't dress/act the part. I have a great job, I make more money than the average 28 year old, I have a beautiful new house (in connecticut), an awesome girlfriend and I dress like a prep...but I smoke everyday and have been for years. Thus far I have seen zero negative effects. I have friends who are in their 50s and 60s who are more successful than you can possibly imagine that have been smoking since they were teenagers. So blow me.

I can make a list of pot smokers who have more brains in one pubic hair than you have in your entire body, I'll start with this one:

I dont have a prob with people smokin pot, until it starts controlling their lives and they turn into a piece of shit, which it does do that to some of them. If you can do it on top of holding your job, family life, personal etc., I dont look down on anyone for doin it. Personally, I dont smoke though, havent since college. I cant rag on people and say its bad for them, because i dip snuff, and thats tenfold worse for ya, so I normally stay out of that shit ><
