Yeah, blame the economy since it isn't an accountable entity.

I actually gasped at the thought of this.

Stop your bitchen, earn more money or get a women who will stay home.

/sarcasm off

It does suck I'll agree. Prior to my lady staying home we were lucky and found a good quality home based day care. Family and friends can be a real savings if they're able to watch your kids.

460 a month is actually really cheap for daycare - you're getting a pretty good deal, KH.

even when i worked at a lower cost daycare because it was focused primarily on underprivileged families, it was 150 a week, and that's in VA where cost of living is lower than here.

It is very expensive to put your kid through daycare; pretty ridiculous, when you think of how little the people who work in them make.

I use a home day care for Hailey and only put her in 3 days a week and its costs me 75 a week. I am this lady's charity case.

At a normal day care center around here, for a 2 year old, it is $160-175 a week and for under 1 it is 185-195.

Ahem....child support would take care of that.

Yeah, in theory. The problem is... Stacy's ex is a fucking deadbeat douchebag "dad" who doesn't even help support his own children. He's a fucking stoner who sits around at home all day at his parent's house, smokes weed, and doesn't pay for rent or utilities, works like twice a week, and then demands to have the kids for 2 days out of the week.

Stacy filed a child-support default claim with her attorney, and she's taking him to court soon. Yeah, a judge can award her x-amount of dollars from him to help pay for his kids, but a judge can't make him get a job. So then what? He's gonna go to jail? What's that going to solve?

I wasn't talking to you.

Sounds like your gf has great taste in men, though.

Oh so now that you've been going out with some chick for a few months she expects you to help pay child support? If that's the case than broom her fast. Don't be fucking stupid.

And you shouldn't even be dating a chick with kids anyways. But at your age your options are probably limited.

So what if she met the guy in her late teens / early twenties. People like to party at that age and some people never grow out of it, doesn't mean she has bad taste in men it just means a man she once dated never grew up.

She's not expecting me to help with that. I just see her struggling with this and I want to help.

Yeah, I'm sure she gazed through her crystal ball and saw what a douchebag her ex was going to turn into, and then thought to herself "Oh, what a great catch he is!"

Shall I go on my tangent about not having sex unless you are prepared for the consequences? :P

She dated a guy who's never left his parent's basement and now she's dating Mindia. Was I wrong? ;)

Post her phone number so we can warn her how big of a douchebag her current boyfriend is.

I mean, yes, day care is expensive.
