I'm seriously thinking of quitting and just playing Vanguard I'm so pissed off right now. After fucking months of grinding my tailoring to 375 and waiting for a ton of four day cooldowns to make my frozen shadow gear and farming hundreds of primals with a dozen other schmucks at the same time all racing to the same elemental spawns they pull the fucking rug out from under us and nerf the shit out of our damage.

All because raiders say "well tailored gear shouldn't be as good as raid gear". Why? Like I said it took me months to get that gear (because I spent all my money on my mount and don't buy gold), whereas some suck ass player who has the time to raid can ride the coat tails of 24 other people and get geared up in a lot less time.

Fuck Blizzard, fuck WoW and fuck their fucking nerfs. Cocksuckers.

Christ chill out, it's like a 34 dmg nerf, big deal. Camping that shit is easier than getting raid items.

That's not because of lack of drops, it's because right now tailored gear (even after the nerf) is better than T6.

I'm just venting. I JUST finished getting the items like a week and a half ago, as soon as I feel like I accomplished something they nerf the items. I have a right to vent.

right now tailored gear (even after the nerf) is better than T6.

And lets not exaggerate, neither the pre or post nerf tailored gear is better than Tier 6. It pales in comparison.

Just to cite one example:

Tier 6 Shoulders:

Armor - 170
Stamina - 42
INT - 19
+10 Hit
+19 Crit
+42 Damage
Sockets - blue, yellow
Socket Bonus - +4 damage

Frozen Shadoweave Shoulders (pre nerf)

Armor - 133
Stamina - 21
INT - 15
+50 Damage
Sockets - blue, yellow
Socket Bonus - +3 spell hit rating

Frozen Shadoweave Shoulders (post nerf)

Armor - 133
Stamina - 21
INT - 15
+36 Damage
Sockets - blue, yellow
Socket Bonus - +3 spell hit rating

I just finished the set too and it's a justifiable nerf. And with the set bonus, (FSW+Spellstrike) the tailoring gear is still better.

PS: you have the PTR stats wrong.

Yeah I was reading some post and whoever posted said the stats aren't changing, just the damage is, which I thought was kind of weird.

Do you have the nerf stats on all the armor?

The only thing that is positive in all this is, 90% of the lvl 70 warlocks and mages on my server have tailored gear so at least we'll all feel the hit.

That's sorta my point, you're not going to "feel a hit" from losing 34 spell dmg.

There, now you can sleep better.

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=100430525&sid=1

The changes players have noticed on the public test realms concerning select tailor-crafted items, such as the Spellfire set, will be reverted before the patch is live on production realms.

This means your item sets will remain just as they are now.

Also note, to address the feedback we've been reading this morning concerning the idea of simply “buffing tier 4 and 5 equivalent slots”, the reason we do not is because improving those 3 slots for tier 4 and 5 would force a change to all other tier 4 and 5 items as well (weapons, melee sets, everything).

If it took you months to get 375 tailoring and all of that armor, you don't play enough to even use that shit in the first place so stop bitching

I'm also a casual player. Don't be bitter because you suck so bad it takes you months to get 375 tailoring. If you're casual you will hardly, hardly notice this nurf, so please continue the QQing

I'm a casual player and I'm still a couple points shy of 375. Casual means I log in sometimes and do what I want. I dont spend hours farming materials for the stupid epics. Then stress out about the 4 day cooldown and set some kind of timer like I am sure some people do.

What exactly does it have to do with sucking? Haha. I love it when people make these assumptions when they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

I was in a front running guild as a rogue for two years. I also had a lock on a separate account. When my girlfriend and I bought our house, I sold my rogue and kept my lock. Now that I am a homeowner most of my time is dedicated to that, so I can only play WoW about 5-10 hours a week. You don't think it would take a couple months of playing to get tailoring to 375 when you only play 5-10 hours a week? Especially when you have to farm the primals for the shadowcloth, primal mooncloth and spellcloth, which is on a four day timer.

See with you it's OBVIOUS that you're a casual player because you have no idea what you're talking about, with me, not so obvious.

Go back to the kiddy pool faggot.

And P.S. there is no nerf. So I'm still better than you. /spit

Like when you did when you assumed my gear wasn't as good as yours? And you still suck if you played 10 hours a week and it took you months to get to 375.
