Killing the AoW the first time, getting the rogue mask and then having my computer fry on me.

every raid with Finger was incredibly memorable. We were a dysfunctional family with Finger and one of the other officers yelling at everyone, spawnrushing vs Sanc, and enjoying being despised. Wuoshi, Trak, ntov, pog.. fighting over all the 2nd tier shit when sov had just come out was too enteratining.

We never even came close to NToV. Perhaps our greatest kill was that stupid wizard guy in Velks. Either that or Vaniki for his uber willsapper?

Killing Draco in fear and getting that shield to drop was cool b/c when it was first out it could be equipped in the back slot so Draxle won it and a week later they changed it to be secondary...

Bind rushing Woushi was great fun as well, even though I never cast a single spell due to the fact I was always feared and running in the opposite direction.

I dont konw wtf zone it was to be honest.. it was whatever zone where all those dragons were walking around and shit and we kept on wiping. I usually just followed you guys around because I didnt even know where zones were or anything... regardless tho Themo, I have a bunch of CoE raid screenshots if you want any

Nothing ever beat Tank-Mez on horsies in PoAir, way back in days in first month of Kunark, for me. And ofcourse Los/Sanct/EoTA Trakanon standoff when Glub trained Trak on everyone and solved the argument.

yea the Euph SoS standoff for arry then the rest of NToV was pretty much my last straw.

When the GM said we had to move back and let Euph try arry, we moved, into a room with nothing, then all of a sudden like 5 mini wyverns were all over us... easy but annoying

that was great Tank MEz

i remember very well any of the raids i went on with crimson tempest in the velious-era EQ. raiding NToV and hanging out with chazzmirh and then all of the sudden globin would yell in the guild:

"CAN'T YOU FUCKERS DO ANYTHING RIGHT? I QUIT"

and he'd log out

In no certain order... but most memorable.

1) First AoW kill with LOS/SoS.

2) First Vindi kill with SoS, man we died a lot figuring that out.

3) First RZ Kill with VG, day after day we lost, finally it all just fell into place, and we jablowned RZ to get wiped after that. Thank god I got the flag.

4) First Emp Kill with LoS. I think we lost 15 or so times in a row before we finally won that.

But the most memorable raid ever, where I laughed harder than hell, was the now infamous "Reynolds Wrap Wrangler" raid, where Seanlan told some WD/KE asswipes to go away. I wish I had a screenshot of that.

Evermore tells the raid, 'DESP CHARGE!!' (just as we entered the doors and getting buffed/ready to try this red balrog who wears only 1 piece of cloth)

Despim has been slain by Xuzl.

I almost forgot about that. rotf

I also remember Foogly and his Snowcone of Death
Has anyone heard from foogly? i miss that fuckin ogre

1st AoW kill was beautiful.

Vindi owned also. My most memorable part of that was sitting on the ice with the clerics going " 1 - 1000 2 -1000 Cast, Ok you just killed Durck again"

That first emp kill was fucking painful. Right up with AOW thou in my book when we finally got it right
For you

i think Foogs quit after Verant wouldn't restore foogs stuff after he died in Air.

He had some business trip or something and got back a day later than he thought he would. And his body went poof or something.

Since that day i never saw him on

but his snowcone was the shit

Emporer Ssra raid, it was like midnight and BoD was trying to cockblock us, so I called my GM friend and he logged on and gave us the spawn. HA. (We actually killed him that night with Decade)

It doesn't really matter who it was in Ssra... the proof was in the pudding. One of the guilds went on to own VT... the other two did not (although, in fairness one of them pretty much just skipped it to progress through PoP).

However, the VT guild also never managed to get OUT of VT... which is nearly as laughable.

Not that I care because I haven't played in a while, but what do you mean by normally? You mean massing for Blood then going in for the attempt to be cockblocked once again my the uber zerg guild, or the fact that BoD finally got what was coming to them and we were awarded the spawn (and rightfully so)

I think getting up to killing all of the solro minis and preparing for Fennin is considered out of VT. But that's just my personal opinion.

Fin - not going to turn this into a rant... but when >50% of a guilds DKP rewards are still from VT raids, said guild has NOT moved out of VT. An occasional PoP kill isn't "moving on".

About 4-5 expansions ago, I went on a raid with Mystic Lords to PoF. Someone lost invis, lagged out, etc and proceeded to train 25% of the zone on us at west wall. We wiped hard. We proceeded to wipe for 2 hours more trying to CR.

My ISP went out at 11pm. I couldn't log in for 2+ hours so I went to bed wondering if I would ever get my items back. Anyways, I woke up and logged in at about 10:30am and half the people were still there trying to CR. Finally a TW guild cleared the breakin and we all got rezzes, most of them without experience gained back.

That was a 14 hour CR... Ouch~ I am glad that I slept for 8 hours of it. :D
