Anyone doing the facebook thing? I pretty much despise the whole facebook myspace thing, but I caved to peer pressure and joined.

I'll judge you mercilessly if you become my friend, just as a warning, but there are other perks.

I joined myspace recently just to throw my picture and contact info up there so if anyone I have lost touch with wants to drop me a line, they can. So far I have talked to four or five people I haven't seen or heard from in years, so it works pretty well. I don't actively seek out other people, I just let my profile sit out there and I check my email for "new messages".

ugh. more online communities?? how many can one person belong to? I can't cheat on myspace and I don't even like myspace that much.

I deleted my Myspace just the other day. I never use it and no one i know on there actually uses it.

i like myspace since i moved from pittsburgh and then out of tampa. Keeps me in reach of all my friends.

I r on facebook. It used to be an only college thing, now its open to everyone. I use it to keep in touch with old college buddies and people from high school and shit. Name r Eric Cline, on the Marshall network~

yeah whatever happened to facebook? i joined it years ago before myspace or any of that and it was elite. college only

Yeah they let high school people on it and it gayed it up pretty bad. When I first joined it it was nice to keep in touch with people, now kids treat it like myspace and i get random 9th graders adding me trying to make friends

and now it's just open to the general public? at least people can't change the layout of their page still. i'm gonna quit using it when it lets people customize their page because then there'll be nothing that sets it apart

amen, dude. that's why i get so irritated with myspace--crazy prettied-up pages (yes mine is like that too haha). oh and spam.

facebook is still pretty sweet . . . it's easy to use and i like the interface. but i think they're walking a thin line!
