Bronchitis

I just spent 6 hours at the ER with my daughter. She has a bad case of bronchitis. They are giving her a shit load of meds. They gave her a breathing treatment and she took that like a trooper. Afterwards, she was hyper and jittery, they told me a side effect from the breathing treatment.
Poor baby.
Her cough sounds juicy and disgusting, she has a runny nose and her face was kinda puffy. She had a 103 temp so I decided to take her to the ER at 6ish. We finally left close to midnight. I sent a text message to Gidan and he feel awful that he couldnt be there with her, that made me really sad.
Hopefully all of this will clear up in a couple days and the cough goes away because thats just scary sounding.

poor thing. i used to get bronchitis at least once a year when i was younger. i got yummy pink cough syrup medicine that tasted like bubble gum hehe

i hope she gets better soon!

Hope she's better soon. I'm coming down with something now that tastes like bronchitis when I cough. How can I forget that split-pea phlegm taste that bronchitis produces? It's coming...

Last time I warded it off with Durafan-forte..something like that. I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow for a sample.

Her cough syrup is nasty, some leaked onto my finger and I licked it off. :puke:

Her steriod and her antibiotic apparently taste yummy. She likes taking those.
She's still sweating up a storm, no fever, but we had a follow up appt today and he told me she has an ear infection as well. Super. She's only been sick once before this, so she rarely gets sick, but when she does....whoa.

My little infant cousin was in the hospital for a few days a while back with that RSV. They had her in one of them little breathing tents or whatever they are and didnt know if she was gonna make it. Most scared Ive been in a long time.

I gave in to modern medicine and finally got some Robitussin. The back of my throat (as of twenty minutes ago) feels like someone lit a fire inside of it. Now I wish I'd bought the ice cream I was staring at.
