lol how do you fuck up mothers day? it's on like every radio/tv commercial, every web ad, and billboard for a month in advance.

I don't watch TV, I don't listen to the radio, I don't browse many websites, & there really aren't many billboards around... I know, I am weird I guess.

I made plans earlier this week to take her out to dinner tomorrow anyways, so yeah.

My family never celebrated mothers day, nor fathers day either. First, my mom's birthday is April 30th, and my little brother's is May 12th, so we've got her birthday and his right around the time mothers day would happen. Second, my parents never thought much about phony holidays made up by Hallmark and florists in order to push more product out the door. I did call my mom for her birthday, of course, but I have no plans on calling her today.

I've never been good and being all mushy with my parents, but I bit the bullet and told my mom that I love her. Figure she deserves that.. and it's mothers day.. and i know how happy that must have made her... I've never said that to her before lol... Go moms!
