Audio players (mp3)

Postby Reynaldo » Sun May 20, 2007 9:16 am

I've officially given up on iTunes since rendition 7.xx flat out will not work on my PC for some reason - just hanging and going "not responding" when I try to open it.

I've switched to WinAmp and am getting used to it but can't figure out how to create a random playlist from my entire library to fit on my (ghetto) 2gb ipod.

Any recommendations on how to accomplish that, or any other player that is solid without too much extra junk that allows for such things? iTunes 6.0.5 was working for me for playing files and creating random playlists, but it was having trouble completing a sync to my ipod so I'd only get about half the songs I wanted on it before it would give me a copy error.

Also, is there a way to convert songs you purchased from the iTunes music store to work in Winamp or other such apps?

Thanks.
