Best food for hangovers?
Please discuss. I will take a suggestion within an hour.
Christ, I went to a all day concert yesterday to see ZZ Top and abunch of other shitty bands (like Evanescence, so I had to be real fucking drunk to sit through it) for my buddies birthday that he got tickets to. Fuck, over the course of the day I probably had 25 beers on top of whiskey somewhere along the way. Dont know how I got home, but my best guess is that I walked, the show was in Columbus, so that means I walked down Summit Ave or something (some bad ghetto, I mut have stuck out like a sore fucking thumb through here ><) to get to buddies sisters place where we stayed, not to mention id never been there before and had no idea where I was going, but by god i made it somehow. I stopped to puke like 4 times on the way home today. No more fucking drinking for a little bit.
On the plus side, I was too crushed to remember any of the ass bands that were there

You aren't long for this world, my friend. I'm 38 and still get carded. I'll bet when you're 38, you'll be getting senior citizen discounts.
The only cure for a hangover is a pre emptive strike by having enough fluids in ones body before the alcohol takes over. My personal preference is to have oatmeal, a sprite, and toast, followed by Nyquil and a nice several hour nap.
What saves a man is to take a step. Then another step.

I drank a glass of orange juice & 24 oz of Gatorade this morning & ate two doughnuts. Then napped til 5pm or so. It is a combination of having gone for a long kayaking trip yesterday morning & then starting the drinking I think. Decided that some caffeine would help fix me up, so I got a gyro meal deal with french fries as well. <moment of silence for grace>. Amen, time to eat.

Water, electrolytes are a big plus, and anything high in carbohydrates.
Basically a hangover is dehydration and the side effects thereof.
Yea. If I get really smashed, I take a few advil before I go to bed and I wash it down with a gatorade or powerade, and then do the same exact thing in the morning when I wake up. It really makes a huge difference. I usually stay clear of OJ when I'm really hung over because it's often acidic and will give me heartburn ontop of an already upset stomach. So, gatorade + advil ftw.

Prairie Oyster is great for hangovers otherwise v8 tomato juice is good enough to simulate alcohol thus eliminating the alcohol withdrawal (which is what a hangover is right?).

harrison's right but that's just one aspect of it. you get dehydrated because the alcohol makes some hormone stop working right and your body stops reabsorbing water
it's usually not the alcohol itself, either, it's usually all the added shit in most liqour like in rum or bourbon or whatever to give it its flavor, since alcohol is tasteless. there's osmething like 800 other chemicals in a drink. just like a cigarette.
it's also the byproduct alcohol leaves behind in your system after your enzymes break it down. vodka and gin are the cleanest drinks.
there's no cure for a hangover but you can do a lot to take your mind off the pain
