Actually, I got engaged on Saturday. I've been in SoCal for the last week. We took my fiance's daughter to Disneyland, and then went to a BBQ / swim party at my friend's house in Murrieta. Flippett came down from Reno and made some AWESOME drinks. He's a great bartender!
Anyway, I told Stacy how I felt about her and us, and then I went down on one knee and proposed to her. She said "YES!!!" and started getting all teary-eyed. Then I got down on one knee and told Jessie how much I loved her too, and asked her if I could be her step-daddy, and then I put a little ring on her finger too. She also said yes, and had a huge grin on her face. Then she walked around and was showing everybody the ring and saying "Now I have TWO daddy's!" It was a great feeling indeed.
We haven't set a date yet, but it will most likely be some time next Spring.
