I dunno man, LBJ is putting up some serious career numbers. I think there's a good chance he'll just will the Cavs to overcome. Then again, the Spurs are known closers.

Spurs will roll over the cavs

Of course, I said the same thing about the Pistons...

Still, I don't see this going past game 5

Of course, I said the same thing about the Warriors...

Regular season means jackshit, wasn't the Pistons 4-0 against the Cavs in the regular season? I picked the Pistons over the Cavs too but after how close game 1 ended, I had a feeling the Cavs might beat them. After watching game 5, I knew the Pistons would lose, Flip Saunders is a horrible coach.

I pick the Spurs over Cavs 4-2

Man, I like defense as much as the next fan... I mean, I totally loved the Spurs/Pistons series. But this has to be the most-boring finals series I've ever seen, and I started watching them in the late 80s.

The Cavs just weren't competitive enough.

I watched the fourth quarter of last nights game and even though the cavs came back you knew the Spurs would pull it out. They're just so much better than the Cavs right now.

I'm not sure if I'm happy Parker got the MVP. It might be in part for all the free press the NBA's going to get from ET and Access Hollywood this summer.

Well, the fact the refs did a 180 and called no fouls when Bowen was mugging Lebron also changed the outcome greatly.

Just think Vonk, if the refs had called last years finals the same as this years, the Mavs would've won in 5.

Damn, I can't believe Spurs actually swept a team. As much as I'd like Duncan to get his 4th MVP, Tony Parker definitely deserved it. Hell I thought Ginobili deserved it in 05. I'm glad to see Michael Finley win a ring.

Anyone notice how Lebron gets away with fouls? Game 5 against the Pistons he got away with a pushoff against Billups. Game 1 vs Spurs he elbows Bowen in the jaw, Game 2 he elbows Ginobili in the jaw, and Game 3 he forearms Bowen in the jaw.

I can't believe people call Horry a dirty player just because of the Suns game, there are more dirty players than Horry and Lebron is one of them.

The no-call at the end of game3 would have made me swear off the NBA forevers. That is, if it were the Mavs who got robbed.

It's really weird that they did that. I mean, last year it was Wade who played the great Eastern savior to combat the Western juggernaut. Isn't Lebron the next great one? Why was Wade given 73 free-throws over 4 games where Lebron only got 21 the entire series? Hell, Wade got that many in a SINGLE GAME. It's not like Lebron shot perimeter shots the entire series... he drove the lane just as often as DW.

Side note, I'm playing WoW again... :ugh:

The no call in Game 3 wouldn't have matter anyways. It wasn't a continuation, although some people say it is. Even then, you know Lebron would miss a FT :P.

And last year's Finals, anyone who wasn't a Heat fan obviously knows the Mavs got robbed. Mavs deserved it though because they robbed the Spurs in Game 7 with the Ginobili phantom foul on Dirk and then all of the Mavs were all over Duncan before the final seconds.
