Uh, if thats your thing, then do it.

I wouldn't... struck me as a damp miserable place sandwiched between Holland & France... neither of which I found to be particularly appealing either. Especially not France.

I was in Antwerp about 10 years ago. I had a great time. Very nice people but things may have changed since then as far as our image goes.

There is no quarantine for dogs, he'll be fat, happy and lazy in Belgium. My daughter is superstoked about going (she's 11). I think it will be a good opportunity for her to see other parts of the world at this age. I put my name in the hat for the job, we'll see if it pans out.
