so there's this girl at work who irritates the CRAP out of me, namely because she interrupts. omg, does she ever interrupt. how do i get her to stfu and stop interrupting people when they're talking?
it also bugs me that she acts all high-n-mighty now that she's going to be taking over more responsibility when this other lady leaves for maternity leave. so annoying. she's not there yet, so i don't understand why she has to look down her nose at us when she's still technically in our position.

upon further reflection, i think it's a jealousy issue. /sigh i just feel like anything i can do, she can do better (which is completely untrue--we're copy editors, right, which means grammar, punctuation, etc., and the girl can't spell "hilarious" and thinks "at least" and "in case" are both one word).
I don't put up with people interrupting me. If I am in the middle of saying something and someone interrupts, I raise my voice and say "Let me finish, PLEASE!" and then smile and they usually get the hint.
it DOES feel a little better at least getting it off my chest. i can't talk about it with any of my work friends because we all hang out outside of work and it would be awkward.

Let me guess - she's about 21 or so?
Just bend her over a desk and pound her 8 ways to sunday... that'll calm her down.
i think i'm jealous because, since she's been here longer, she's getting moved to a position with more involvement and more responsibility, even though she's not exactly the best editor in the world. or within ten feet of me (seriously, the girl has terrible grammar). doesn't seem fair--longevity over quality. but my time will come, just gotta be patient.
the being interrupted thing is completely unrelated to how snooty she can be at times--it's just something i see more of a chance of fixing/helping, and she was doing it a lot this morning, holy cow!
