Cool. Send your money to Quolyte mailbox.

How about I was curious who was still playing so we could have fun. You aren't invited since you don't know how to have fun with these games anymore.

I'm going to stick with whisperwind for now, see if I can convince some of the old crew to come back.

The heroic zones interest me.

Fine with me, the heroics aren't fun either. You'll find this out after the first 10 times you have to run them to even get keyed for heroics.

I hate agreeing with Taxx but after running the instances over and over just to get the last rep needed for the key, I wasn't interested in running them anymore. Even just getting the gear I wanted out of them wasn't very rewarding. I just got bored.

Kara, however, is the shit!

But I can only field a group of 5 players maybe. I think it's a great idea to have content for small groups so I don't have to listen to emo rage on TS just to have fun post 70.

If you don't think 5 man heroics don't contain emo-rage you forgot about grouping with Freon.

I'm just saying, if you're coming back to play the game just to do Heroics you're going to be disappointed big time.

The new raid content alone (even Kara but at this point after doing it 30 times is stale to me) is 100x better than vanilla wow raids and 10,000x better than anything EQ offered. Battleground pvp is still more balanced than any game out right now (arenas suck).

I don't like PVP.

I'm going back because I'm bored and feel like seeing how the game has changed. I know I can't man even the 10 man raid zones and I don't want to join a guild of dweebs. Seems like heroics are a good idea.

*shrug* up to you. Just trying to make sure you realize you are going to have to run each zone 10+ times to even get keyed for the heroics in which it's essentially the same exact zone only harder, no new bosses only a few new abilities and mostly sub-par loot.

My gear blows, so they are very hard for me. We killed 3 mobs in Heroic Durnholde. We didnt get any in the pit and the one we almost got down, I ran out of mana and let everyone wipe.

The truth is spoken. Easy with adequate gear and instance knowledge. Once you do it a couple of times, you know exactly what will happen and when to expect it to happen. Gets boring after maybe 3 or 4 runs.

The only thing that makes it interesting is going into a Heroic with 3 or 4 people and seeing how well you do. We've cleared Heroic Slave Pens with a Rogue (me), a Druid, a Warlock and a Warrior. The only hard part were the hard hitting, see invis guards (can't remember the name of the mob). I would just stun one as much as I could while everyone nuked him and the warrior kept agro on the other.

That's not true. You don't have to run each zone 10+ times to get keyed. At 70 you only run one zone in each of the factions to get keyed for multiple zones within each faction.

The loot is kind of sub-par though...

...You're better off tradeskilling for your gear.
