Take solace in small victories, chubs. You may be a living reminder to women of the pros of aborting your child before he grows to "adulthood", but at least you slammed some Canadian nerd on internet about his homophones.

Oh man, chubs, you are the epitome of the witty retort. I still bet I am in better physical shape than you.

Actually, biking is a main part of what I've been doing. I'd still up and go any day I could find a partner who had the testicles to do it.

My friends are burnouts, however. The only thing they're going to do is sit in their room and get high.

That's no minor undertaking. I doubt I would make it alone. I'd get lonely as hell.

Anyone else find it funny that a highschool drop out is bagging on anyone's education system when he couldn't hack it?

Not that related but last night they had a good show on discovery about our planet and it's aprox 4 billion age and the amount of water we have here.

The question was one I hadn't seen here and was surprised by that.

How did such a huge amount of water get on earth in the first place?

Science does not know. They've tried a few things, samplings from comets, carbon dating meteorites, etc.

The current "best guess" is that water was placed here by comets, and the comets that did it came from the asteroid belt. The belt is full of not just "rocks" but comets as well.

I don't get the "big deal" on finding water on bodies outside our solar system, this isn't much of big news IMHO.

If there was intelligent life out there, chances are it is already hiding from us.

That isn't exactly true as we don't know if life can exist void of water, that has yet to be proven.

I didn't realize folks assumed water only existed in our solar system. Comets, moons, etc have been said to contain water so to guess water exists outside our system doesn't seem that big a deal is all.

The show on last night made it sound like water is very abundant in the universe

EDIT
10sun ninja'd me :)

Water is very abundant in the universe. The only reason things like this make the news is to stir up the Christians that still have a hard time accepting the fact that they are not as important in the grand scheme as they were lead to believe.
