Actually I'm not kidding. GM who plays in our guild says Wrath of the Lich King, level 80 and Dread Knights will be in the next expansion. Supposedly Diablo 3 will be announced at Blizzcon or shortly after.

Their plan is to release a new expansion every year. Blizzcon is in 2 weeks so you should hear an announcement then.

Try to get into the Mythos beta, I've applied to it on like 10 accounts now but cannot get in.

Not up to snuff on Mythos. I checked out their website and it says they're in alpha moving to beta right now.

Not much game info, and the screen shots don't wow me much, although it does look very Diablo like.

If you need a strategy book to play this game, you're horrible at games since this game can be played by 5 year olds.

Lyion, Flagship Studios is all (well, a lot of them) the old people from Blizzard North that made Diablo. Mythos is a free to play game that they're using to stress test their servers.

First, the game is very simple, and a strategy book is a waste of time. Just do the quests, learn your class, and make friends.

Second, the expansion is a complete waste of money until you are level 60. Just play the base game and if you make it to 60, worry about the expansion.

Any questions, let us know and roll with the hate. It's part of the fun and allure here, and the haters are actually good guys if you can survive their natural selection brutality.

That does look much better.

It looks a lot like Dungeon Siege, which I really liked, but was a Diablo ripoff with better graphics, but not as good gameplay.

If it's the Blizz crew, though, I bet the gameplay will be great and this'll be as much a keeper as Diablo 1 and 2.
