Yo Mop...Target story....
Might just be funny to me, but....
I run to Target to nab some dog food, since it's around the corner.
I hit the dog food isle. While there, I hear this beeping noise like a large truck backing up. I ask my girl if there's a semi nearby, and right after this ginormous chick comes backing out of the row, on one of these little Target scooters glaring at me.. She must have been 500 pounds and beeping as she backed up...with the wide load noise...
Not nice, but I just found it.. hilarious.

Off topic but if you were to make judgement on the type of worker that Target employees vs WalMart, whom would you say has "better" employees?
I've got one of each within a mile of my house, and there appears to be a difference for me. Not the only time I've noticed it between these two companies either.

I noticed a huge difference in the customers AND employess when I worked for Target. Walmart stores are always cluttered and the employees are unprofessional-shouting over loud speakers every 2 mins. At Target, we were encouraged to dress nicer, keep the store looking very clean, and each of us had walkie talkies so that we weren't having to talk over the PA and bother people. When you go into a Walmart, you only get the first greeting at the door, then noone says hi or asks you if you need help, and its tough to find help sometimes. At a Target, no greeter other than the security guard who will nod at you, but then you get asked like 20 times if you need help finding something by employees..(which can also be annoying).

/concur. I just like the wider isles =P

Maybe it's the fact our Target is brand new, but it's a lot nicer and the employees there are a pretty good chunk ahead of the Wal Mart ones, who all either seem to be 300 years old or on Parole.
Plus, they have those cool scooters that make the wide load noise when they back up....

It really depends on the store, there are good targets and bad ones, same with walmart. Target over all has better standards for employees but walmart tends to pay more in areas where they compete for geographic locations. I mean i've worked in a few targets good and bad, they are like night and day.

We dont have a Target within like 50 or 60 miles. I liked to go to the one near where I went to college because it was EMPTY like all day long. Like I said though, I go to Wal Mart becaues they take everything back. I even bought a pack of blank CDs one time, used 5 or 6 for class, then took the opened, half empty pack back, said they were the wrong ones, and got my money back rofl

I think you people need to lighten the fuck up.
You shop where you can get what you need.
"I don't shop there, I am so fucking much cooler LOL"
Shopping isn't about getting what you need. It's about getting what you want. Wanting better shit than what Target or Walmart has to offer isn't elitist. If you happen to not give a shit about what clothes you wear or can't afford to get better then Target and Walmart are made for you. If other stores sell the same shit but for less, by all means go get the better deal.
