KG, Pierce and Ray Allen on the same team. Are they gonna see a title?

None of them will play the entire season. They still don't have a PG. They have no centre.

They'll be better then last year but not by much.

it'll be an ok team when the three are on the court, even though they still don't have much of a ball handler and distributor, but they're not young and can't play the whole game. The second you have to sit one of them, you're bringing in guys like allan ray and leon powe and thats not a good thing. Thats not even including what happens when one of them gets injured, which is pretty much a sure bet.

I sure don't think them winning the east is a foregone conclusion like some people seem to think. i really think this is a trade they will regret, although i thought the same about the ray allen deal

McHale wins GM of the year, even if they finish bottom of the division. Honestly, that was the single most amazing single off-season roster turn-around I've ever seen in my 16 years of 'seriou' NBA fandom.

I'm looking forward to it. KG was the perfect person to mesh Allen and Pierce together. If anyone could make that work, it's him.

No, I'm absolutely not saying that this will 'work'... but it's definitely something I'll watch. Playoffs - sure. The east is too weak to keep them out... KG alone would make a playoff team out of any single team in the east - quite easily.

Anyway... looking forward to it.

The east, Atlantic especially, isn't as bad as they used to be. I think New York is still ahead of Boston IMO. I don't see Orlando making that much noise with Lewis but they will be better. If Milwaukee can move Yi for anything and stay relatively healthy they'll be good enough for a playoff spot I would think.

Detroit
Chicago
Cleveland
Washington
Toronto
Milwaukee
New York
Orlando
New Jersey

That's 9 teams that I think could very well make the playoffs, add Boston to that list I don't think anyone can cruise into the post season in the east anymore.

I could see Miami taking a big step back though.
