Projekt Revolution Tour - Linkin Park Recap (Image heavy)

Postby Naethyn » Thu Aug 09, 2007 7:56 am

We had soooo much fun!!!! Front row in the pit. Right at the gate. Some great bands played. It was much more than I had ever expected. Chester (lead singer) threw me his shirt and Pheonix (bass) threw me his pick! haha. Good times. Pics below.

He's got a little Captain in him....
Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

Great job drinking a dehydrating drink in 95 degree weather. I hope you had a bottle of water for every beer you took.

I was pooring sweat the entire time. I slipped one of the crew members guarding the stage 20 bucks and he kept running to get us water ect. We shared it with everyone. Rocked hard. Dunno if I could've lasted without him! ps. he was black.

That sign makes me think of Operation: Mindcrime. One of my favorite albums of all time.

The problem with Queensryche is they peaked, bigtime, with Mindcrime. Stuff before that wasn't bad, but everything after it sucked. Especially in comparison to Mindcrime.

And sorry, but this isn't a show I'd have gone to at all. Now, next month I'll be going to Underworld + Paul Okenfold, that should be most awesome.

Bastard. I want to see Oakie again.

I did like Empire, but it wasn't as fresh or good as their earlier stuff, and was a little too much of a mainstream push for my tastes

Geoff Tate has an amazing voice, and it never gets old.

Rock n00bs, listen! Especially when he goes from high note, to ludicrously high note.. Amazing.

Paul Oakenfold would definitely be a show to see. I used to listen to him all the time snowboarding.

The show is even at a club-sized venue, for double extra awesomeness. For those that know this area, the show's at The Warfield in SF. (For those that don't know the area, the Warfield is a damn good place to see a show. Old fashioned pit area, you can get right up to the stage, relatively small place, but with enough room for people to stand at a distance, and even has an overhead balcony or a bar table area for those who feel like sitting. Acoustics aren't perfect, but are pretty good.)

Underworld would be cool but Oakenfold? No thanks. He did some decent stuff in the 80's but everything I've heard since then has been :dung:
