Pilot Inspektor, Apple, Rumor, Scout, Moxie Crimefighter. Stupid people exist in all races and they generally do stupid things like give their kids names that the rest of us laugh at. It isn't specific to any race.

black folks have some of the more interesting names tho

there was a whole generation where it seemed like they just took common names, and tossed a "la" or "le"in front of them

I think different communities have different socially acceptable things.

4Real or ESPN are just publicity stunts, and it'd be better if they didn't get the attention, so other parents wouldnt follow suit.

It's a ghetto thing not a "black" thing. I know that is a weird distinction for most of you but there it is. Just like for white people it's usually white trash that gives out crazy names. Hollywood is in a category all it's own.

If a person wants to name their child something that sounds ridiculous it doesn't really matter. If it's indicative of what kind of parent they will be then you couldn't change that just by not allowing them to name their child whatever they want. Stuff like this is meant to get attention, but to me the best thing to do is ignore it.

but majority of the ghetto is black tho

it's like around here, the natives have a really interesting naming standard in the last 15-20 years

they give a VERY christian first name to go with their traditional native surnames

so you run into a lot of Donald Stonebears, Christian Twofeather, Sarah Poundmaker etc etc etc

Yes Tikker :p i'm not saying that most of the ghetto isn't black, i'm just saying that it's specifically ghetto black people that come up with these crazy names rather than just black people in general. I'm sure some clever poster will quip that most black people live in the ghetto though.

Isn't "ghetto" the term that people apply to places with predominately black populations? =P
