Every thursday and monday night the local hick bar near my house hosts a no-limit hold'em tourney. Free entry. Winner 30 dollar bar tab, 2nd 15, 3rd at tee shirt.
Anyways,
I got the deal of an Ace of hearts and a ten of clubs. On the flop comes Jack, Queen, King all hearts. I'm sitting well with a straight!! On the turn a 2 of hearts! Flush on the board! lol.
Then on the river something happened. Bam! The 10 of hearts. I'm sitting with a royal flush in my hand.
I go all in. Two other people at the table do also.
Finished 1st over all. I win. Pic below =)

that 10 isn't on the river, it's on the turn, provided you were sitting backwards =x

I was big blind (2000). 6 on the table. 5 called to see the flop. I had the straight. Guy next to me bets 2000. Another raises to 4. I call. All 5 people in at this point. Turn comes down with the 2 of hearts, now I have a ace high flush. Same guy bets another 4000. 4 people call including me. River comes down with the 10 and I almost shit myself lol. First guy goes all in. I go all in and one other. I easily quadded my chips that hand. Owned hard. Had to go final round early because our table was short of players. By then I had a massive chip lead and pushed everyone else off the table.

So here's what I see. Its hard to tell exactly without knowing the chip stacks and ability level of your boys, but I think that small blind was chasing a baby flush or limped in with a suited hand and was made and left of him was made with a small flush or chasing and tossing out a feeler to the small blind. Next 2 have pairs, 2 pairs or trips, maybe, though I doubt, a lower straight. You went into the 4th st chasing an ace high flush spending now 6000 chips (out of how many you had in your stack?) on 6-8 outs. I play pretty tight, and I don't see how big the chip stacks were and how many chips you're playing with so its hard to say what I would have done.
