I couldn't continue to watch that, I think I heard about it and I know it's just nature, it just makes me sad that nature is so painful ><

The herd ends up saving the baby, which is quite remarkable.

I saw this on animal planet a while back. Great stuff.

ya that's def. the one I saw pieces of a while back when a coworker showed it to me - still, I hate watching that kind of stuff - I like to tell myself that in nature no one has a nervous system and therefore feels no pain ><
