Mireadur only left EQ cuz Riky's gone.

Secondly, you should check out TBS if you come back to the real EQ, Lucard. It is godly and even a ranger can get phat gears.

P.S. I just have to say that the idea of pouring out my Bud for a PBR...does not thrill me chill me and fulfill me.

What? Riky played long after Mireadur quit. Then we played wow on frostwolf together. Then he quit again for a job in France.

Have you talked to him lately? The spanish crew is playing wow once again lol. He tells me it bores him. I really think the thought of a free mmo based off eq would excite him. He did try eve~ lol

Ok, so I installed it got it running but with 2gb of ram it says I can only support 2 models? wtf? It won't even let me try to pick more than 5.

Click all of them to show new models and hit Enter instead of clicking OK. It's a bug.

Wow, I just want to say this sever rocks!!! It's so much fun. Oldschool everquest reborn. I'm only level 9, but my time spent in the Qeynos aquaducts over the weekend was a blast!!! I found this uber 7/25 1hs off a named. Super l33t. The bandlist is UBER. Keeping all friends at the same level is sooo great. Not everyone can play as much as others. This is by far the best feature.

Anyways,
Recommend this to ANYONE who wants the oldschool eq experience. I cannot wait to get a higher level. Now just to find time!

I can't get it working. I followed all the instructions, but when I try to play I get "The procedure entry point _AIL_enumerate_3D_providers@12 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss32.dll"

mss32.dll sounds like you don't have .NET framework installed.. Find it on Microsoft site. If you did install that, did you do it before or after you installed the EQ/SoD stuff? You might have to redo it, not sure.

Pretty sure before.. Just try installing .NET and see if it works then, if it doesn't, then try repatching. Install should be the last option.

Damn...still getting error. Could it be possible that this is happening because I installed with the patcher link Harry posted and not the discs?

Yes Ouchy, you need to copy all those files over into c:/programfiles/sony/everquest, and then downlaod the sod patcher into that same file as well. That was my problem. They were downlading into the Launchpad file. It worked for me.

Its something SoD did, really the only thing that is the same from EQ is the spells and the "look" everything else is different. Storyline, mobs in zones (Crushbone is now lizards), names of zones. It is a lot of fun.
