I wouldn't say a joke, doing a quick runthrough it looks decent for someone who just needs a laptop without any bells and whistles.

You can get the same thing cheaper, though.

i agree, that is actually just average.
i have found several laptops in that price range with 2GB RAM (upgradeable to 4GB), which is the main issue i would have with the comp.

I actually want to buy a laptop for school and stuff, probably wont be gaming on it, but I don't want Vista on it and don't want to spend a lot. Any recommendations? 700 dollars would be too much to spend for the use I want out of it.
