For fun I've created a 10th team called Bye Week. This team will be comprised solely of Detroit and Oakland players, and will not accept any trades or do anything.

Fire off the draft whenever.

Ditto. No idea if I'll have time on a Tuesday buried with work after a 3 day weekend...

After all the crap I got for asking to move the draft to today, when EVERYONE could have made it, I have zero sympathy for you two whining about it taking place while you are at work tomorrow. To quote you, "Just sort your pre-draft rankings!"

there's a bit of a difference between one person whining that they just can't possibly make time when everyone else is free versus it suddenly being in the middle of a work day

I made time when it was originally scheduled, and had long-standing plans for most of Labor Day weekend, it being a holiday and all. So, I suggested an alternate time when everyone could still make it. You felt the need to give me crap for asking. So be it. Just don't expect anything but derision for your own whining on the same subject. Just remember, you wouldn't have made the initial day yourself, if I hadn't been so kind as to IM you to remind you. Next time, I won't bother.

HAHA You didn't suggest another time, you demanded he change it to a time that was only convenient for you.

Arlos suggested Xaiv change it. If I was gone all weekend, I'd have suggested the same,

The bottom line is Xaiv is running the show and could've kept it for when we had it scheduled. It was his choice. Also, Xaiv blew off the scheduled draft when I'm sure some of us were there, like me. That was kind of bullshit.

Honestly, the live drafts are fun, but I'm ok with skipping it if I have to. I would've preferred this weekend, but C'est La Vie.

me wrote:Sept 1st very bad for me, that's labor day weekend, and I'm gonna be gone all weekend. Pick different day, please

Saying I'm going to be gone and please pick another day is demanding? OK, riiiight. Notice I posted that almost immediately after Xaiv moved the original day, before anyone made plans to be there. I said not one word about the original day, I just made time and plans to be there.

When the original day didn't happen and we had to reschedule, I didn't pick some time convenient only to me, I asked for a day that everyone had off of work, and would likely be home and available. The fact that it was a Monday was irrelevant, since it was, you know, a holiday, that everyone in the US had off, and you admitted you didn't have to work either. So, I don't exactly see that as ravingly unreasonable, especially since I asked right away, before anyone had changed their own schedule to attend at the new time.

The original draft date could not have happened because there was an odd number of teams. Yahoo wouldnt allow changing it to ready. As far as changing the draft day to Monday, the only allowed time to draft on monday was at 6 AM EST. Yeah sorry im not getting up at 3 am my time to draft.

The only available draft time was this time. Besides this is just for fun, if we had money riding on it i think it would be different.
