pink dolphins are native to the amazon (not that the one pictured wasn't a rare albino, but it's possibly just mislabeled)

Almost. That picture is most definitely of a bottle-nosed dolphin - whether it being pink is real or not, I have no idea, but from first glance, it looks legit.

The pinkish long nosed river dolphins of the Amazon have a much longer, thinner beak and a distinct protruding bulbous head. They don't look like bottle-nosed dolphins at all.

Pink Bottlenose dolphins certainly are rare, since it's by no means a normal coloration for the species. The pink ones in the Amazon are endangered, so yeah, those're rare too. Now, if you meant "not unheard of", you'd be far more right.

Anyway, interesting info on this one. I can't imagine it will live that long, though. It'll be easily targeted by predators, and likely will have other health issues too.
