so the apartment complex i live in is pretty ghetto. i'd say 90% of the ppl here are low-income mexican families. my apartment inside is pretty nice but once you go outside it's like tijuana. it's all good though, i really like the place.
however, these people moved into the apartment next to me 3 weeks ago. they looked real nasty. i think they brought with them bed bugs because about a week ago i noticed some in my apartment. it freaked me the fuck out because i'm seriously obsessively clean. i've seen about 3 so far and i've managed to kill the fuckers but i know there's more because i've started to wake up with bites on me and it seriously grosses me the fuck out.
i don't know what to do about these, i want to move out now and i'm about to go buy a new bed. i inspected the fuck out of my mattress, every crease and cranny and shit, and only found one, which i killed. i washed all of my bed things and blankets in hot water, dried on super hot. but today i still woke up with two new bites. i'm freaking out.. im dating osmeone right now and i dont want to be like "uhh you cant sleep over cus i got bed bugs" it's just fucking gross.
has anyone had to deal with these before? what the fuck do i do.
If you talk to your complex manager, they will have to exterminate your apartment and buy you a new bed. My fiancee is a property manager, and a tenant caused a big bed bug epidemic in her complex. The company had to buy new beds for all of the tenants, and they charged the family responsible.
Seriously though, don't fuck with bed bugs man, get out of that sketchy apartment if that's what you feel is necessary. Or talk to your landlord and have them foot the bill.
