Because there were serious security holes in the old board, not to mention I was getting tired of being spammed with email from bots registering on the board. I am going to work on getting a style that looks more like the previous board, it will just take time. This board also has a far more optimized database structure, not to mention the code isn't a awful as phpbb2 code was.

Changed default style to one that is most similar to the previous board. If yall see a style out there you like, let me know and I will get it installed. Will also work on getting a quick reply section added again, trying not to modify anything that will cause the board to be unupdateabe like the other board was.

One thing though: can we change that light green text for something darker? It's painful to look at, let alone to try and read. I have tried all 3 themes, and it looks the same to me on each one.

Yes there has always been restrictions on avatar size. What is the size of the avatar your trying to use. File size as well as hight width sizes please.

oh don't worry about it, it's not a big deal. i was just wondering if that was always the case and i just never ran into a problem before or what. i did some ninja-resizing of the pix i was deciding among, so it's OK.

I cant recall what the avatar size limits were on the previous board, so its possible they are set lower then they were before. If you have the problem in th future let me know and I can up it a bit.

Restrictions now are 150x150. Thats too small imho. Maybe up it to 200x200ish or 180x180 should fit most, without being overwhelming.

Actually its set at 150x200 atm. Make that 180x200 and you get free HGS.
