Ahh its shit like this that made me glad i left EQ also when i used to be in euphoria i waited 6 months to bid on a item with dkp, no it wasnt cause i was points mongering its because i wanted my friends to get all there gear hooked up first and i couldnt give a shit about loot i also had a decent set of PoG gear and they had Kunark era gear with some Kael, its very disgusting how the mentallity of people in this game changed,
All about loot getting 10 pieces of loot in 2 months and not content with how the dkp system works is fucking retarded back in the day i got 6 pieces of loot in euphoria and that was in a years time the greed of people in this game amazes me im glad i quit dont think ill ever play another Mmo thats purely based on PvE that way i can kill the whinny loot whore bitches that get mad because some other dude got a hammer.

When Euph was run by that asshole overlord human rogue, it was a tight ship and there was no bullshit! Seriously, there's always drama in guilds, and it's almost always something trivial.
I agree with PVP rocking. I just wish someone would get it right, and guild warfare and true fighting would be there. Its either watered down and shoddy, or there is no reputation or meaning, and its Fantasy Quake.
DAOC had great potential, but from day 1 has veered back towards pure EQ clone.
WOW doesn't seem overtly worried about PVP either. I doubt I'll invest the time to get to 50 to see the endgame during Beta, but I'm hoping their design doc is good.
I dont mind playing a PVE game, but I absolutely will not play a game that requires a mini zerg to do the end game stuff. 20 person instanced dynamic changing zones and encounters to me would be the pinnacle of MMOs.
If I ever do the guild thing again, you'd be the first fucker I try to get, Kaba, followed by Hazakiah, Ginz, Taxx, and many others who have angst but underneath are selfless and a blast to play with.

Actually that is pretty funny Atayla. I do remember making that post years back. I'll admit I was fairly high strung while in CT and I always tried to maintain a 100% raid average in whatever guild im in. As you know, my rant was that I missed a raid, not missed DKP. If I'm not mistaken Crimson Tempest was still a officer-based loot guild back when I bitched about missing a raid... so how would that affect DKP?~

There is no other explanation as to why my account was logged on, moved to the bank, and had its password changed to some onasanam crap. No Euphorian member or officer has even offered an explanation that would explain what happened. Instead they fall upon childish attacks concerning events they know very little about and assume very much of.
I gave Euphoria my password because I was trying to help out the guild. Something that isn't popular in Euphoria. If it doesn't benefit the person involved, it doesn't happen. And if it were to happen it bites that person in the ass. Case and point. Instead of using vodia during my 8 day cancun trip, my password was saved to attack me if I upset them.
There is no reason why someone cant earn their loot then peacefully leave a guild. There was no negative talk until Lamens or someone he shared the private password with logged my character on. I was not planning on saying a single word about Euphoria, I enjoyed my last 2 weeks in the guild with half of you on ignore. It was one of you who hacked my account and made me angry and started this, not me.

Furthermore, your dkp system is trash. You recruit people who are not fully elemental flagged at times then force them to bid on tons of rotting time loot. Just Monday night Lamens tells the guild, "stop letting twinks get all the loot and get your own" By the time they make the guild, if they haven't quit yet, they are "locked-out" of looting. Tell me that isn't screwed up?
Its sad that ANYONE who raises any criticism of your system is flagged as a lootwhore. Anything I ever suggested didn't even help me, it was for the newer people who were quitting/getting screwed. As Lamens is concidered a raid leader, I felt that he could be trusted with this information. Despite my feelings that he is extremely immateur and basically a moron, I thought the leadership of my guild was protection against account theft.
The problem isn't the officers benefiting, its the new people getting screwed. I have always spoke about people who were joining the guild in ldon or SoV equipment. The officers of euphoria force these people to loot by saying things in guild chat or posting things on message boards, or simply by waving rotting items in their face. Then they tell them they cannot loot anymore and they quit or like a few, deal with subpar items until their lockout period is over. These people are not even remotely given fairness because YOU put them into the position they are in, they cannot go there freely. That is why I bitched and that is why changes were made. Only a side effect of this is the PERMANANT superiority givin to the officers. It is not the problem.
