When "We Are Marshall" was being filmed in Huntington, WV, where I used to go to school, I was sitting at a bar watchin some games and Matthew Mconahay (oh fuck me, spelling bee champion?) came in and sat at the bar beside me and we drank beer for 3 or 4 hours. Funny you mention robert altman, lawl I just got back from a meeting, and the group leader used to be his personal trainer like 15 years ago. We had to do that break the ice fun fact thing, and that was hers.
