49ers are paying for settling for FGs those first 2 drives, and for completely blowing kick coverage. Offense definitely looked better than the first two weeks. Well, until that INT. Defense has been really good, and as for Clements... The 49ers took a bunch of heat for supposedly overpaying for him, but he's been worth every penny so far.

i still think they over paid for him, but he's definitely awesome

ps, the 49ers need 1 or 2 more years before they're going to be a real playoff team

Actually, I agree with you on the 49ers. I think they might make it this year, if for no other reason than the rest of the NFC West (well, hell, the rest of the NFC too, really) sucks. Next year though, I think they'll be top notch.

Kevin Curtis gave me 40 points in fantasy this weekend.

Gidarcler had a sick showing though and creamed me.

I thought the Steelers retro uniform was ugly last week but that got nothing on the Eagles this week.

I'm not sure why the studios keep doing this.. I understand the allure of a former players insights, but they should ensure the prerequisite speaking, writing, and journalistic abilities before inviting anyone to be a studio persona.

ESPN pregame is a joke, anyways.

Some of them do just fine. Like, say, Steve Young is pretty good, I think. But others are just awful.

Phill Simms is top notch, Troy Aikman is pretty decent, Ron Jaworski is good too. I really like Tom Jackson too

guys that should be just shot in the face:

Deion Sanders, Emmitt Smith, Theisman, Shannon and Sterling Sharpe, etc

Heard a Bud Light "Real Men of Genius" ad on the radio during the 49ers game, where they were saluting "Mr. Ex-NFL Player Game Announcer", and one of the riffs was about "You give great comments, like 'The team that scores more points will win'" ... rofl.

And I completely agree with shooting Deion in the face. Just on general principles too, not even necessarily cause of his announcing, though that certainly makes him MORE worthy... heh.

What was up with Kevin Curtis this week. Maybe it was just shitty D but he just seemed to have a great game.

You can still win, you just need to get another 40 or so points out of Chris Brown tonight :)
