roethlisberger definitely moves around in the pocket a lot better than grossman, but he's still prone to trying to force the ball into spots he shouldn't, and he plays behind a much better line

I don't think his line is much better. I just think he thinks a lot faster under pressure.

debateable

I think the offensive system he's in is a lot better too tho

the one thing I will give Ben over rex is that ben is a lot harder to bring down, and he ends up making plays off of missed tackles a fair amount of time

I've never seen Hines Ward quit on a route, unlike Berrian who seems to do it every other play.

Pitt's O Line is also a lot better, and their WRs are better route runners and don't have butterfingers. Santonio Holmes and Ward are good, reliable WRs unlike the Bears duo.

Ben generally is asked to do a few plays a game. Rex so far this year has been asked to win games. There's no doubt Ben has made plays, but that's in large part due to his cast who aren't fuck ups, like Chicago's O.

You guys haven't watched a single game then. I live in Steelers country. Watch a game once, I'd say on 50% of his passes he's sacked/hit as he throws/or running to the side and sidearms.

Just saying, Rex needs to do more to actually make plays, you can blame your line and your receivers all day but if the QB doesn't make his own plays, you won't win.

eh? I'm probably the biggest steelers fan on the board

all I"m saying is that this year (and this year alone) Rex has played not that bad, and has been plagued by drops, and receivers allowing balls to get picked

Pitts offensive line is better, just not by much. The difference between Ben, and Rex is (aside from their receivers) the fact that the steelers have more success running the football. The Bears could not run the football if their lives depended on it.

If the Bears could consistently run the football, Rex would be a much better quarterback.
