I was going to say

let's see FG go 15+ seasons without at some point, losing a bit of it's early zip

Simpsons never made me laugh. FG made had me in tears from uproarious laughter a couple times. True story.

You are a fucking sophmoric moron if anything in that bullshit show brings that much laughter. Either that or under the mother-fucking influence.

family guy is worth a giggle every now and again, and i haven't watched the simpsons in years and years . . .

futurama is the only show of the three that consistently makes me laugh out loud.

Family Guy, Futurama, American Dad...

All shit on the Simpsons in every way. You old people are just clinging onto it because you know it so well. I grew up with it and I still think it's garbage. (now, but then...I thought it was fucking great WHEN I WAS 10)

You forget it came out in 88 when I was in college. You're right, I don't watch simpsons much any more, so I dunno if it's lost its wit compared to the original few years. I just know that Family Guy is ham-handed at it's attempts at humor, and almost universally falls flat on its face, ending up just being annoying and shrill.

I'd say American Dad is shit. I love Futurama, enjoy Family Guy, and am bored by the Simpsons.

Futurama has some awesome quotes:

"PROFESSOR!! LAVA!! HOT!!!"

"This concept of wuv confuses and INFURIATES US!" <3 Lrrr

"I heard that alcohol makes you stupid." Fry: "No I'm... doesn't."

I also like the fact that the same man does the voice of Professor Farnsworth, Fry, Zoidberg, Zap Brannigan, and tons of minor roles.. not to mention the voice of the Honey Nut Cheerios Bee in commercials!

I'm sorry, Family Guy is great stuff... Peter is such an idiot... it brings a smile to my face...especially the movie.

and the other is the episode where bender becomes god "..and has to drift thru space with barely any swag"

I think Family Guy is hilarious. I love the references and humor. It's one of those shows, that when I happen to catch it I always wish another episode was coming on right after.

Ditto, but now they've started airing it so much on TBS and on uh.. WGN? Whatever channel it is that the simpsons comes on so often.. so now I see 4 episodes a day if I want!

Was there supposed to be a funny part in that clip? Maybe the link you provided wasn't complete. :dunno:
