Hey call it being a fair weather fan if you like... doesn't bother me.

You'd be switching teams too if you had to deal with this kind of shit game after game, year after year, decade after decade.

This game was the straw the broke the camels proverbial back.

First Monday Night game in 13 years - even when as far as to break out the throwbacks.
The crowd was wild, loud and full of emotion and energy - 100% behind the team.
5 Interceptions... FIVE... 2 returned for TD's.
A recovered fumble.
A blocked 2 point conversion.
A kick off returned for a TD.
A fake punt on 4th and 4 that worked like a charm.

...and they STILL FREAKING LOSE!!!!!

Only the Bills... Only the Bills are sorry enough to allow this to happen. They imploded like they do EVERY GAME that isn't against a high school quality team.

They F'en suck... they've always sucked... they will forever and always suck.

I don't mind losing, it's part of the game. But, when you expect to lose year after year. They don't even try anymore they're so used to getting stomped.

Screw em... they're lucky they still have any fans left IN Buffalo, NY - let alone around the rest of the country.

All the buffalo stuff I have is being sold or trashed... which is what should happen to that sorry excuse of team.

I hope they get demolished every game for the rest of the season - which really - isn't exactly what you would call an unrealistic expectation.

Sorry ass Bills couldn't beat themselves with a jar of Vasoline and a year's subscription to Penthouse...

I do not switch favorite teams. They are my favorites because.....well they are my favorites.

The Bills have a good nucleus of talent, and they are a free agent signing or two away from a playoff team (within two years, not right now). Marshan Lynch is money, that guy is going to carry the Bills a long way, for a long time. Quite frankly, if i was a Bills fan, i would be excited as hell for the future.

As far as the game goes, at least they played their asses off. Dallas was a HUGE favorite, and they took it to them. It was a very entertaining game, and i hate both teams. Those kind of crazy games happen every year. Hell, Arizona Chicago on Monday night last year for instance.

You pretend that it only happens to your team, when in all actuality, it happens every year. Usually multiple times. /shrug.

If you are throwing, selling, burning your Bills gear, you were not a fan to begin with. Even the Lions fans, they have a SHIT TON of more things to complain about than the Bills. Their fans just get creative with their forms of objection to the way the franchise goes.

That is kind of what being a fan is. Hell the Lions fans have much more to bitch about, than the Bills fans do imho. There are a large number of franchises that have it worse (or at one time had it worse) than the bills.

Cry me a river.... at least you have a win. However, I would never change teams. I just can't. I don't get upset enough about sports games anymore. If the dolphins are 0-4, 0-10, my life goes on just the same as if they were 10-0. I don't have a financial stake in the team, so if they lose, they lose.

I get really happy if my favorites win, but never upset at losses enough to follow a different team..that's just nuts.

You're kidding right? Do you really Lynch is going to stick around? How many seasons of playing with an inept line who can't open lanes for him do you think he's going to put up with before he demands to let out of his contract to leave for another team? Think Travis Henry.

Lynch wont stay. Yeah, you've got a few people like Bret Farve that are true to their teams and stay for the long haul, but that mindset is no longer commonplace in the NFL as a whole. Lynch won't stick around long enough to matter - mark my words. Talented players now-a-days go where the winning is, where the money is. It's why Dillon dropped Cinci for NE, etc etc etc and etc....

You do know that Lynch is under contract for 5 years right? You do know that Buffalo would not release him from that contract due to the cap hit the team would have to endure right? You do realize that after his first contract is up, that Buffalo can then Franchise tag him right? You do realize that they can continue to Franchise tag him if he does not agree to a contract right? You do realize that the majority of starting running backs stick with the same team through their prime years, because that team can offer them the most money right? No, you did not know that, because i do not believe you understand how NFL contracts work.

As far as Corey Dillon is concerned with the Bengals you have it ALL wrong. He was maligned in Cinci, despite his pro bowl play. When he was injured in his sixth season the Bengals refused to negotiate another contract, because they had some guy named Rudi Johnson waiting in the wings. So they traded him away, not because Corey wanted out. Dillon decided he needed to move on, after the Bengals refused to negotiate another contract. He did not go to the Patriots because of their "winning" either. The Patriots were the only one that was offering a second round pick in the upcoming NFL draft for Dillon. The league wide speculation was that after his injury problems, he could not be a feature back anymore. The Patriots lucked out on that one.

Once someones initial contract is up (especially for running backs) they are just about on the down side of their career. But for the next 5-7 years, yeah Lynch will be a focal point of the Bills offense.

Diekan, come to the dark side. Come to the blue and orange. At least Bears' fans are delusional in their chances for victory.

Dallas did hold the Bills offense to 3 pts, and the Buffalo defense did give up 25 pts

I don't understand how anyone can root for a team that they don't live near, or have ever lived near.

That just makes no sense to me.

I have been a big Cleveland Indians fan since i can remember. They had some of my favorite players as a kid, and i love the way they run their organization. I never had anyone that has lived in Cleveland, i have never been to Cleveland, but they have always been one of my favorites (trying to get a tryout with them this year too =P)

It depends on your view Harrison. I respect the way certain organizations run their team. As much as i want to hate the Yankees, i cannot. They do everything they can year in and year out to win. It does not matter that they spend twice as much, its in the rules. I can respect that the ownership wants to put a winning product on the field, unlike say Pittsburgh.

I use to hate the Oakland A's yet i root for them, because of their organizational views. It helped that they were the first ones to actually give me a shot at the big time as well :cool6:

you don't have to understand it

i'm a cubbies fan even though i have only ever been to chicago once (twice if you count my 17-hour layover in o'hare). i love them because growing up we had WGN on our local cable service, and they showed like 75% of all the games. harry carey & steve stone, ryne sandberg, shawon dunston, mark grace, joe girardi, greg maddux, andre dawson, etc etc etc. i spent a whole lot of lazy summer afternoons with my dad watching the cubs. they didn't win then, they don't win now, but i love 'em. always will.

i'm a texas tech fan even though i've never ever been anywhere close to Lubbock. a few years ago when i started getting into football, i watched as many games and as many teams as i could, and their play style just jumped out at me. they are 100% pure offense, spray n' pray, run n' gun, and their spread formation looks like a bunch of air force bombers when they take off from the scrimmage line. they cemented themselves as my favorite team during the 2006 insight bowl, when i talked a dozen friends into watching the game at a sports bar. they were down 31 points to minnesota at the half, and all my friends left but one-- we stayed and watched what turned out to be the single greatest bowl comeback in college football history. by the time the game was over, we were cheering so loud that our entire half of the bar had caught on and were cheering with us. awesome! will they ever win the BCS (or even the big 12 championship)? hell no, not until they get some real defense. but they're my team!

i've never spent more than two months outside of nebraska in my life, and i don't give two shits about the huskers. i'll root for them against teams i care less about, or teams i dislike-- but they are not my team, and never will be. unless we're talking about volleyball.

all i know is that even when i move from houston some day i will gladly give up rooting for all houston sports teams (actually i hate baseball, but for the Rockets, Texans, Dynamo)...

but i will never stop hating dallas and spreading that hatred everywhere i go...

and i actually went to a small college but jumped on the Notre Dame bandwagon when i started playing football in 7th grade and i enjoy watching them ever since..

HA! I even got the ND QB jersey (can't remember the # atm) in 8th grade when ol Ron Powlus was the next uber-phenom at ND... what a joke, talk about tanking in the NFL, him and Rick Mirer..
