Denver Bronco's fan first real football game I ever watched was the 86' playoff game vs. the Browns. Everyone was at my aunt and uncles house for some for someone's Birthday or Christmas party or something. Everyone was rooting for the Browns (I'm just south of Cleveland.) Saw Elway lead The Drive. Been a fan since. I've been enjoying watching the Pat's the fast 5 years they are a fun football team to watch, I'm not a die hard fan like I am of The Broncos, but damn they are fun to watch.

Yankee's fan because my Grandfather was, we was in Basic Training in the Army w/ Joe DiMaggio.

BTW The Mets adopted some of the Giants and Dodgers colors when they were created hoping to score leftover fans.

For baseball, I like the Yankees. I liked the Rangers (hometeam) until they got rid of Pudge...for some oddass reason, he kept me with Texas. Then I was in the market for a new team and along came Gid. Yankees.
Basketball, Mavs. Hometeam.
Football it was Dallas until I stopped caring and lost interest in the sport. I went to a few games (as a worker) and had a good time, but I just lost it. Again, along came Gid, Pats.
College football, Longhorns or Aggies, depending on my everchanging mood.....and who is playing that particular day, on the rare chance I catch any college game. (both "hometeam")
Hockey, Stars. Hometeam and entertaining as hell.

Dont know if I would change my teams if I were to move. I've lived in Texas all 24 years, so it's been home teams or whatever Gid likes.
slightly off topic: I let my daughter decide my team if they are teams I dont care about. "Do you like the orange team or the blue team?" "Blue team!" More often than not, she picks a winner. I think she's lost maybe twice out of a couple handful of games.
