Do you know your Geography

Caught that off the FoH forum, hadn't seen it before, pretty neat IMHO

I usually get to 8 but have failed as early as 6 and never gotten past 10.

How about you?

It doesn't scale to my screen resolution nearly well enough =(

Closest I could come was 300km for anything because I couldn't be precise enough.

The point is to get near the place, not exactly on it. I do wish it scaled the map a bit better, but it works ok, even if it's rough at 1920x1200.

That's really fun.

Tried once so far, got to Level 11 and ended 38,000 out of 55,000 needed for Level 12.

Level 11 really kicks you in the pants with an obscure Russian city where if you guess wrong it's usually on the other side of the country for 0 points.

I fumble at 6 as well. I've gotten within 75km of a couple but I agree the map is way too small.

Woot. Blew past 6 one game and got all the way to 9, but was unable to pass it. How I got through levels 7 & 8 is largely a mystery, because I kept clicking in Indonesia for countries in Africa.

Also, this brings to mind the question posed to Miss Teen South Carolina about the percentage of Americans who couldn't find Iraq on a map (so she said that not everyone could afford a map). I remember thinking that was outrageously stupid, but evidentially I am one of those Americans.  I know where it is now (it's the green one!) but it took me several rounds to nail it.

Best I managed was 9km for the capital of Seychelles which kinda amazed me because I couldn't even see it on the map and was just guestimating the location.

Yeah, if I played this in 640x480 I'd probably demolish it.

Only L10 here too. Got 39k out of the 50k needed. Only tried once, though, will try it more later.

I finished it all the way. That last level where you have to start pointing out capitals on other fuckin planets was bullshit, man.
