Jump around

WTF is causing the browser to jump around the page right after I first start typing a message? Is this a fuckup at my end or some delayed javascript etc?

I have never experienced that myself. What style are you using? Does it happen every time?

It happens almost every time under the silver style

I figured it out Ouchyfush, as the same things happens to me when I hit reply or quote.

The cursor does not start off in the text box so when you start typing and hitting space, it moves around to different areas on the screen.

I hope that makes sense since I have no idea what the technical terms are.

Can you give me a better idea of exactly what your doing when it happens. Is it only in subsilver or all styles. I am trying to duplicate the issue so I can get an idea of whats going on but I haven't been able to yet.

resolution is 1024x768, silver, Im sitting upright, wearing khaki pants and a button down long sleeve shirt with a pretty cool tie that has snowmen on it. They, in turn, have green scarves. I am not, however, wearing shoes at this time, but my feet are covered by socks.

it's got something to do with the order that certain themes are rendered I think

it's like 99% of the page is done, then a big banner at the top loads up and shifts everything down an inch

Have you considered it may be the tie?

You know all my info. It happens to me 8 times out of 10.
I'll click the reply box just.in.case everytime but sometimes it still goes down. Most often after I type a few words, I assume it moves down during a spacebar hit or something. Sometimes I only get one letter out of a word before it moves.
