Yeah, because publicly displaying a direct insult to one's religion is humorous?

Oh give me a fawking break. It has nothing to do with "growing up." It was very distasteful... it's as simple as that.

It's totally different. The asshole who put Santa on the cross is mocking Christ, therefore, distasteful.

I'm not saying this isn't distasteful to Christians, but how is it less distasteful than those insulting Danish comic pictures of Muhammed were to Muslims? I'm not saying to not be offended by this if you're Christian, but you might recall back to when those comics were running around here, some of those offended NOW thought those comics were completely hysterical, regardless of the fact that they WERE patently offensive to those of the religion they were aimed at....

Seems a bit hypocritical to be upset at distasteful acts towards one religion, but actively cultivating them towards another, yes?

Getting angry at a comic is like getting Angry at South Park.

Getting angry at someone who is blatantly out to offend and not entertain is clearly different.

Again, if it was a mockup hanging of a **** it would suddenly be a fucking cryfest.

Actually you've got it wrong. The 'asshole' nailed Santa to the cross to protest the commercialism of Christmas. Merchants are replacing Christ with Santa, yada yada.

The whole argument is stupid anyway. Christ wasn't even born in the winter, so Christians getting so worked up about 'Jesus is the reason for the season' is beyond ridiculous.

It's free speech. It's kind of morbid, and not something I care for, but tamer than many supposedly artistic things.

I don't see many people getting worked up, personally. Status Quo.

for years I've tried so hard not to jump on the side of those who so clearly hate you because it's become commonplace, but you really are a fucking moron.

Do you honestly think studying dictionary.com for large words makes you sound intelligent? When you're constantly using them in 7-8 word sentences which have a sole purpose of calling people stupid with absolutely no backing other than your worthless uneducated 'hurr i was too smart for high school but i do have 10 diseases and almost died 15 times and I've done everything and seen everything one more time than anyone else has' bullshit one, the big words mean absolutely nothing.

Newsflash, dumbshit - it's not women who find your mindless drivel as agitating as a mosquito bite in your nether regions - it's *everyone* on this board.

Maybe take a hint and realize it's not everyone else, it's you.

I stopped reading after the first sentence. It's people who imply I am an idiot who anger me the most. The first mistake, and last, is assuming I am unintelligent.

Closing your mind to any opinion other than your own is the purest form of ignorance - that alone will forever speak volumes of your intelligence.

I honestly and entirely wish with all of my being that you get a disease that nearly kills you, that no one believes you have.

I hope you have it for nearly a decade and struggle with it the entire time, also being told it doesn't exist. I fucking hope you suffer through the months of thinking you're going to die the next day, with no one to tell you otherwise.

Fuck you ***, I hope you develop ovarian cancer and have a handful of doctors tell you it's heartburn.

      well aren't we angry.

here's the thing, harrison. i have a job, so i have health insurance. if i have an actual issue, i can go to a real doctor instead of a quack in the box.

of course, i don't think going to medical doctors who cover physical ailments helps the whole 'i'm psychotic' issue you have, so maybe you're just checking into the wrong field.

i do have medical issues with my digestive system that the doctors haven't figured out yet, fyi - i've been to multiple doctors and in multiple hospitals throughout my life from the get-go and was in CHKD for 2 months as a child because of it. i've accepted that theres a number of things that doctors aren't always going to be able to explain in life because no one knows everything, and that's why people learn new things every day. I can guarantee that everyone on this board at some point or another has had some sort of sickness, likely most have had one at some point worse than your little 'hey i can google!' disease that linked to a disease referred to as 'common and easily cured.'

i'm thankful that i'm as healthy as I am, and I don't go around cursing everyone who walks the earth thinking I'm better than them when I'm a self-proclaimed scum of the earth basically, the exact blight on society that I use to describe the 'n words' that I hate so much - that would be you. the difference between you and I is that I don't come on these boards telling everyone of my ailments proclaiming my near death experiences every time I have a booboo.

you seem to forget that i leveled with you long before you ever even posted on these boards, long before BoD, and long before your self righteous attitude or any of your magical illnesses that stop you from working full time all the sudden popped up as an excuse for being the loathsome dickhead of the same social status as those who sit on their asses collecting a government check every week with no cause other than laziness that you are.

wishing ovarian cancer on someone because they finally had enough of your shit to call you out on it is telling of an infinite amount of issues that you can't seem to overcome.

seriously man, seek help. you're 10 times crazier than anyone ever thought garg was.

If this were in my neighborhood that would be the one thing that would really bother me about it, that kids would see it. I snickered a bit at "Santa Died for your Mastercard". It's irreverent, and I can see how some would find it offensive (I find it somewhat disturbing somewhat along the lines of the girl in "The Exorcist" screaming F-me at a priest although to a lesser degree). While I agree to a large extent with the guys message, I think his method of delivery is a bit over the top... and frankly apt to being misunderstood as something other then what he intended.
