as always, a brilliant rebuttal with absolutely no substance. you never disappoint.
you have constantly complained about where you live, saying that it's crime infested and there's nothing but n words where you are. over the years you have never said anything nice about new bedford, which would lead many to believe you're unhappy there by most sensible logic.
throughout the years, you have complained of numerous ailments and almost dying on multiple occasions. most people with ailments and who die pretty often aren't too pleased with it by most sensible logic.
you have, over time, complained about school and what a useless sack of crap it is, stating that education is overrated, basically. (mind you this was before your hay guyz i'm going to college!!! and before you never actually made it to class because you found another excuse to not make anything of yourself, career wise or education wise.) considering that education is the basis of establishing oneself in any manner, by all sensible logic, you're clearly not on a path of happiness with a bright future. (i totally support you in this one, though! i know two people who only have GED's. one is 30 and makes 9 bucks an hour at food lion and the other had to join the navy. sucks you can't due to your vast array of health issues!)
when any social status other than your own is mentioned, you vehemently attack it and use the word fuck a lot, in addition to the word faggot. this would lead most to believe that you're unhappy with most of your peers by all sensible logic.
pure unhappiness and constantly bitching about something generally means one is miserable, by all sensible logic. these are but a few examples, and there are many more in the harrison history book.
unfortunately, you're neither logical nor sensible, so i can see where you would struggle with this logically sensible perception

Harrison has most of the opportunities that the rest of the country enjoys, he just chooses to squander them and put the blame for his failure on someone else.

There are many people similar and stuck in New Bedford like he is; many are much worse off. Almost all of them could change their life but they don't. That's the tragedy of poverty.
When people speak of helping the disadvantaged and the poor, people that live in New Bedford are some of the people they're talking about. There's usually sympathy for helping a name without a face but once you get to know someone, the blame tends to go on them. The problem is you could do that for almost all adult poor. And if you did that suddenly all those programs to help the poor are contradictory, since if they made their own bed it's their own fault.
It's a combination of their own actions and the lack of local policies that work to help people strengthen themselves and succeed. When the latter part isn't functioning, you get places like New Bedford and people like Harrison (and much worse).
Remember it's not all of southeastern Mass that is a bad place. The area immediately surrounding New Bedford is a great place to live. The people living in New Bedford aren't different; it's the area they live in, the drug and crime culture, and the failed local policies that promote hopelessness that are.
