NH voter fraud?

Postby Martrae » Wed Jan 09, 2008 2:53 pm

Inside each person lives two wolves. One is loyal, kind, respectful, humble and open to the mystery of life. The other is greedy, jealous, hateful, afraid and blind to the wonders of life. They are in battle for your spirit. The one who wins is the one you feed.

How long have I been arguing against electronic voting machines, due to potential for misreporting, tampering, and malfeasance?

Maybe this'll serve as a wakeup call for everywhere else to get rid of the damn things until there's some real security on them, as well as a cast iron incontrovertible paper trail.

You're right, Arlos. (enjoy the moment....I don't tell you that that often ;))

I have a feeling that we've overcorrected the 'chad' problem and made things 100x worse.

here you just get a sheet of paper, and a pen
you colour in the circle of the person you want to vote for

if you make a mistake, or whatever, you hand in the old one, which is destroyed, sign for a new one and then everything's counted by hand

seems to work ok
