eq2 item decay on death flaws/rant

This is my first post and from what I’ve read on this forum I’m so happy about a feeling I have about my posts not getting deleted !!!!! lol

Okay EQ2 we all know there are going to be some serious issues but I personally need a space to make fun of the jackasses that make this game.

#1. Item Decay, on death.
This is to make death a scary experience, something that experience loss does not do (apparently) especially exp loss does not seem to matter after lv 65, having never been there i cant comment, but if I was lv 65 and had my AA bar to 100% most of the time, exp loss would be a nightmare.

Not to beat around the bush but anyone who played on a PvP server the root of all evil was the 'naked mage'. A naked mage was just as powerful as a fully equipped mage in almost all aspects, and in PvP where in the old days you would loose all your carried money and ONE item (including primary), spells were the only non lootable thing. Warriors were lets just say not very well equipped and wizards in particular had full untouchable spell books, I was lv 24 troll SK before I got my first piece of bronze and piss me off but its always the breast plate that’s taken first lol.

Item decay on death will only promote naked wizard syndrome as I Highly doubt those narrow minded tail between their legs designers would have the foresight to include spell decay in the "balanced class MMO EQ2"

What I wouldn’t give to be part of the dev team and give my ideas to them and laugh out loud at the morons making these horrible ideas.

P.S. Anyone else notice that Swashbucklers seem to be masters of poisons with their long flimsy swords but Assassins don’t seem to have the first clue and cant use poison? Forgive me if I’m wrong but poisons used on swords are far less effective and far more expensive then poisons used on daggers, which just so happens assassins (who have been using poison for countless centuries) tend to use.

I did not understand a single response to this post, either I 'suck' or there is some behind the scene joke going on. If this is not the place to rant about upcoming eq2 stuff anyone know a better spot?

no this is the perfect place... I think you should start some more threads.... We here at the NT do enjoy a good EQ discussion but from time to time its a nice diversion to argue over e-wang sizes, noodles, and just how great euphoria is.

It sucked there also.

Ranting about beta testing is pointless anyway, thats why they call it beta.... and testing.

Besides, there is no such thing as sympathy in R and F .

Watching that EQ2 movie made me think of SWG trailers..the whole thing looked like the same flavor.

Will there be stormtroopers in EQ2 too?

Star Wars was and still is the Beta for EQ2. Everythign they are adding to EQ2 is already in Starwars and not working.
