Medieval Total War 2

Post by Naethyn »

This game came out a while ago and I played MTW1 and Rome, but I was putting MTW2 off until I had a month to waste away playing... I just want to say this game is EVERYTHING I thought it could be.

I really enjoy all the Total War games, but I'm too backed up with games I need to finish.

I have a stack of books, several games, and it's political funny season. Sucks not to have enough hours in the day. :dunno:

Well after a month since my original post I have beaten my first campaign as the Spanish. I can't give this game enough praise. I've been recommending it to everyone. They have made this game so incredibly deep, after reading the manual, browsing forums, I still learn something new every single time I play.

They have even added a hotseat function. This allows for more than one person to play the campaign. Each person get their turn and passes the save file to the next person. Although this results in auto calculated battles in pvp. You still get the ability to fight npc nations in real time 3d. A buddy of mine have started a new campaign in hotseat mode. It's been a lot of fun. There is even this website to manage it for you.
