It's almost laughable how much time was focused on McCain and Romney. I wish Paul would get nasty and stop pulling his punches. When McCain starts his stump speech about "it American presents not American lives" I want to jump through the TV and strangle him.

Is it me or did Romney start losing his voice from talking so much about 3/4 through the debate?

My friend agrees with you Rob. I think Huckabee did a nice job of making a fool of himself calling attention to the fact that no one wanted to give him and Ron Paul attention, in spite of there being no time limit on the questions.

While I agree Ron Paul should not roll over as easy as he does, he definitely does better by keeping quiet and not being as sarcastic in his responses. He should be feisty, yah...but I don't know how Ron Paul could make a better point than he does by just keeping quiet and respectful.

It's not like they intended on giving those two fair time anyway and they know it. Why do these networks get to host debates anyway? It's clearly not balanced.

Serious question-why don't the conventions hold the debates??

I think it'd be really funny if they started going on about each other's moms.

The conventions are late in the election cycle so there is a fear of being "Giulianied" if they don't hold debates and get the messages of the candidates out. The other point is to allow policy to be developed but clearly that is not going to happen. :(

I don't know what your link is to since I can't see youtube at work, but let me just say that I loved this moment:

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/politi ... vative.cnn

To hear that kind of support for Paul from people at a republican debate makes me smile and keeps me hopeful for something that looks impossible at this point

To add as well though, I want to punch that constant smirk off Romney's face - McCain looks like a smug little fuck too
